About Lydia
I am a dedicated tutor and soon to be teacher. I am in my final year of University where i study a primary education degree. I am passionate about fostering joyful learning and creating engaging lessons tailored to each child's learning style and needs.
Past pupils and parents have often commented on my 'patient and encouraging approach' which aims to boost pupil confidence and nurture their skills.
This year i had the opportunity to study and teach in Switzerland which i believe has enriched my ability to tutor children. Exposure to diverse cultures has enhanced my cross-cultural communication and fostered a deeper understanding of individual learning needs. Furthermore, i am now able to draw on innovative approaches and methods that i observed and learnt about while in Europe.
With a proven track record of improved grades and happy students, i am committed to helping build pupil confidence and self-esteem and educational success in an approachable and welcoming environment.

I have had ample experience tutoring and teaching children in the UK and abroad in Europe during my Primary education degree. I am now in my final year of university and I am excited to continue my professional development.
I offer services that can cover all topics taught in the primary school curriculum. I often focus on providing literacy and numeracy support in a tailored and specific way to the needs of each pupil. I support a child-centred approach within my tutoring as the success and happiness of my students is high priority. I also aim to encourage active participation through experimental learning that provides a concrete experience.
Tutoring is an enjoyable experience for me and I aim to provide a service that is always friendly, encouraging and productive.
I often tutor for 1 hour sessions however I aim to be very flexible with those i work with and therefore this can be adapted.
