About Sophie
Hello everyone!
I have recently graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a high 2:1 Degree in History with American studies. I am currently a Masters student studying at the University of Leicester, hoping to eventually move onto a PhD.
My specialist area of study is America but have loved all types of history and have studied many types of Modern History throughout my education. For example, my current MA dissertation will be centered around the changing role of the First Lady in American politics. However, at undergraduate level, my dissertation was centered around the Hunger Strikes of 1980 and 1981 in Northern Ireland, for which I achieved a first class grade.
I'm hard-working and love my subject. Studying and being a part of history has been my passion for as long as I can remember. It would be an honour for me to help others achieve their highest potential in a challenging subject and hopefully love it as much as I do!
