About Antonia
Hello, I’m Antonia, an experienced tutor and people development professional with a passion for helping young people build confidence in their learning.
My background includes teaching, mentoring and supporting learners to reach their potential through personalised guidance and encouragement. I particularly enjoy working with students preparing for the 11+ exams, helping them develop strong academic foundations alongside effective study habits and self-belief.
I have a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD or those who may find traditional learning environments challenging. I understand that every child learns differently, and I aim to create a calm, supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing in confidence.
My approach combines structure, patience and positivity. I focus not only on exam preparation but also on helping students develop organisation, focus and resilience, skills that support long-term success beyond the 11+.
I believe learning should feel encouraging and empowering, and I work closely with students and parents to ensure lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to individual needs.

I offer supportive and structured 11+ tutoring designed to build both academic skills and confidence.
Lessons cover all key areas of the 11+ entrance exam, including:
• English
• Verbal reasoning
• Non-verbal reasoning
• Exam technique and time management
My approach focuses on helping students understand how to approach questions rather than relying on memorisation alone. Sessions are personalised to each child’s learning style, strengths and areas for development, ensuring steady progress in a calm and encouraging environment.
I can also and have a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners and provide ADHD and neurodiversity-friendly tutoring. Lessons are adapted for students who may struggle with focus, confidence, anxiety or traditional learning approaches. I use clear structure, manageable tasks and positive reinforcement to keep students engaged and motivated.
A typical lesson may include:
• targeted 11+ practice questions
• strategy teaching for verbal and non-verbal reasoning
• confidence-building exercises
• exam technique and pacing support
• regular feedback to support progress
My aim is not only to prepare students for the 11+, but to help them develop independence, resilience and confidence in their learning.
