About Tutor
My academic journey includes a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies from American Military University. Later, I enrolled in the Teacher Ready Program at the University of West Florida for a teaching certification. Since then, I've worked as a teacher, summer school teacher, and substitute teacher in various public and private schools.
However, I found my passion to be teaching grammar, writing, and ESL online.
Tutoring and teaching are precious instruments that help individuals climb the ladder of success more confidently. I provide a one-on-one experience to strengthen your student's reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills. To improve your student's grammar, reading comprehension, ELA, Math, and Test prep skills, I follow the IXL curriculum as a guideline according to your K- 12 state standards.
For those students who need to improve their English speaking skills. I follow common core standards for English language learners. These engaging lessons are designed to help students learn through pedagogical practices, including scaffolding, close reading, and conversational language use.
