About Samuel
I am currently completing an MBA in Finance, building on a strong academic and analytical foundation and several years of professional experience applying quantitative thinking in real-world settings.
I hold a BSc in Accounting and Finance and an MSc in Marketing and Consumer Psychology, where I received extensive training in statistics, data analysis, and research methods using tools such as SPSS and Stata. These degrees have given me a solid grounding in mathematical reasoning, statistical interpretation, and structured problem-solving.
Prior to my MBA, I worked as a strategic consultant, where I regularly analysed data, interpreted statistical outputs, and translated complex information into clear, practical insights for clients. This experience sharpened my ability to explain technical concepts in a structured, accessible way, a skill that is central to how I approach teaching.
As a tutor, I am patient, organised, and approachable. I take time to understand how each student learns and adapt my explanations accordingly, with a strong emphasis on clarity, confidence, and enjoyment of learning. I believe Maths and Statistics are best understood when they are connected to real-life contexts, rather than taught as abstract formulae.
I am reliable, well-prepared, and professional in all my lessons, and I am committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.

My approach is to intertwine Maths and Statistics with real-life interests, so learning feels relevant, engaging, and enjoyable rather than abstract or intimidating. Whether a student is interested in sports, gaming, finance, social media, or everyday decision-making, I adapt examples to what matters to them. The main emphasis is on fun learning, building confidence alongside a strong understanding.
