About Ivy
I am a Maths tutor with an MSc in Statistics and Data Science and more than 6 years of teaching experience. My passion is guiding students through statistics and probability so they can use these tools for research and data analysis. I teach key topics such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and data visualisation. I also integrate R and Python into lessons to give learners practical software skills. By using real-world datasets, I make the subject relevant and engaging. I encourage students to interpret results critically and understand how models connect to reality. My approach is problem-driven, with lots of examples and applied practice. I focus on helping students gain confidence in statistical reasoning step by step. I also support learners working on research projects or preparing for careers in data-driven fields. Over time, they discover how statistics informs better decisions in every discipline.
