About Maria
I grew up in El Salvador and my favorite subjects were grammar and languages. I learned English on my own before coming to the U.S so I understand the possible struggles and challenges one can go through while learning a new language. I currently study Psychology at the University of California Davis and I have learned different types of methods to make it easier and lighter to study new material.

I love Spanish since it’s my native language, and I love that other people are trying to learn it and get better at it. I understand that everyone learns different, no matter how slow or fast you are, I’m here to help. I don’t like rushing or going past a topic/unit if you don’t feel comfortable with it yet. Our tutoring sessions will be your time, so don’t be shy or afraid of asking to repeat or go over something again!
