* Over 20 years’ experience teaching Physics and Science in high performing independent and state schools (internationally and in the UK) as well as challenging inner-city environments.
* Experience with GCSE, A level, BTec, GNVQ, the IB and international GCSE / A level.
* Ex-Director / Owner of Tuition Company of 130 students of all ages and familiarity with all curricula. Have taught all Core academic subjects in UK schools.
* M.Sc. (Computing Science). Studied at Oxford University & King’s College, London.
* Upbeat, good-humored personality.
Hi!
A teacher teaches you what they know. A good tutor listens, finds out what you are struggling with and then helps you master your difficulties so you can get on. I won't waste your time or money and will get to the heart of your issues. I know the courses inside out so the easy bits we can skate over and the typical exam questions and tricky stuff we can examine more thoroughly. I will guide you through past paper style questions.
I went to a tough state school myself, but ended up at Oxford. I know you have the ability. I won't judge or criticize and I won't try and be your best buddy. I love teaching, because it is fun and my subjects really are interesting. Honestly! My best subject at school myself was English and I was a typical demotivated student who thought all my teachers were just there to make life miserable. Learning should not be this way.
