About Andia
I’m an undergraduate science student at UBC with a strong academic background in biology and a passion for helping others. Having somewhat recently completed high school biology myself, I understand the curriculum, exam expectations, and common areas where students may struggle. I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without embarrassment! My goal is not just to help improve grades, but to build confidence and a strong long-term foundational understanding in biology.

As a current undergraduate student in the biological sciences, I offer high school biology tutoring that is clear and tailored to each student’s learning style. I understand the value of learning from someone closer in age to you, and I think this is one of my strengths as a tutor!
I want to focus on building strong foundational understanding in topics such as cell biology, genetics, physiology, and evolution rather than memorization. I’m happy to help students prepare/review for exams, improve grades, and develop more effective study strategies. My goal is to make biology logical, manageable, and enjoyable by breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts.
