About Carmen

I am currently a Data Science student at the University of British Columbia with a strong background in mathematics and statistics. I have always enjoyed helping others understand concepts that once felt difficult, and I am passionate about making learning more accessible and less intimidating.
I understand that everyone learns differently so I adapt my approach to match each student’s pace and needs.

About the lesson

I focus on helping students truly understand math and statistics instead of just memorizing steps. I know how confusing these subjects can feel, so I break concepts down in a simple way that makes learning less stressful and more enjoyable.

My lessons are personalized based on your level and goals on whether you are trying to catch up or even improve your grades or prepare for exams.
I am supportive and I aim to create a comfortable environment where you feel confident asking questions and learning at your own pace
