As a current Engineering student at the University of British Columbia with a strong academic background in Math and Physics, I believe in making complex concepts feel simple, relatable, and even enjoyable. My tutoring approach blends real-world applications with visual explanations to ensure every student not only understands the 'how' but also the 'why' behind each topic.
In a typical lesson, I start by quickly identifying the student’s current understanding and goals. We then break down the topic into manageable chunks, using examples, problem-solving, and intuitive analogies tailored to how each student learns best. I reinforce learning through practice questions, mini quizzes, and concept check-ins, ensuring lasting clarity.
What sets me apart is that I’ve been on both ends: I’ve been the student struggling to make sense of things, and I’ve also worked hard to master them. I bring empathy, energy, and proven strategies that helped me succeed in BC curriculum and further in my rigorous engineering program at UBC, Vancouver. Whether you're preparing for a big exam, catching up on tough topics, or aiming to stay ahead, I’ll meet you where you are.
