About Kris
Hi! I’m a UBC graduate in Microbiology and Immunology with hands-on experience as a lab technician in a molecular biology lab and an intern in a biotech company focused on cell biology. I’ve also co-authored four scientific publications! Therefore, I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping students make sense of challenging concepts. I love working with high school and college students to build strong foundations in molecular and cell biology. In my lessons, I focus on understanding rather than memorization, breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear steps. I adapt to each student’s pace and style, creating a supportive and engaging environment that makes learning biology both enjoyable and rewarding.
