About

I'm a native Spanish speaker studying at UCD, and I got an H1 in both Leaving Cert Spanish and French. I know exactly what examiners are looking for, and I can show you how to give it to them. As a native speaker, I'm especially strong on the oral, which is worth 25% of your grade.

I also went to a grinds school myself, so I know what makes grinds worth your time and what makes them a waste. I have teaching experience in English at Kids & Us Madrid, where parents and management were very happy with my teaching.

I'm a calm, understanding person, and I know exam years can be stressful. I'm patient, clear and encouraging, and I never make anyone feel bad for getting something wrong. That's how you learn. My aim is for you to leave every lesson feeling more confident than when you arrived.

About the lesson

In our first lesson, we'll go over your level, your goals and anything you find difficult. From there, I'll build a plan around you, whether you're chasing an H1 or just want to pass with confidence.

Each session mixes exam practice (oral, aural, reading and writing) with real conversation, so you learn how Spanish is actually spoken, not just what's in the textbook. I'll help you build strong oral answers early, so you're never scrambling before the exam. We'll also work through past papers together, so you know what to expect and how to pick up easy marks.

Having been through grinds myself, I keep lessons focused and well paced, with no wasted time. You'll get clear feedback after every class, and we'll track your progress so you always know where you stand. I'll also share the study techniques that got me H1s in two languages. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, so you can ask me anything!
