I am a college student studying math. In high school, I was a member of the math team for all 4 years and afterward, volunteered as an assistant coach who wrote numerous documents explaining solutions to contest problems as well as discussing common problem solving techniques.

I base my classes on analyzing example problems. From there, I focus on the intuition for why we solve problems in the way we do. I talk about ways to generalize my approach to a particular example so that it can be applied to similar problems in the future.
