About Zaynab
I am a Law graduate from University College London (UCL) and a future trainee solicitor. Having successfully navigated the competitive journey into law, from university applications to securing a training contract, I understand the challenges students face when trying to achieve their goals.
Coming from a state school background where access to guidance and tailored support was limited, I know how valuable it can be to have someone who can break down complex ideas, provide encouragement and offer practical advice. My own experience has shown me that the right support and explanation can be transformative to a student's confidence and ability to succeed.
I am passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping students realise their potential and making subjects that initially feel overwhelming become manageable and engaging. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills at their own pace.
Whether helping students improve their grades, prepare for competitive applications or build confidence in their abilities, my goal is to provide personalised guidance that helps each student achieve their ambitions.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student, recognising that everyone learns differently. My teaching approach is supportive, structured and interactive, focusing on building both confidence and a strong understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising content. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student's needs, whether that involves breaking down complex legal concepts, using exam-style questions, creating revision plans or developing effective exam technique.
Lessons are typically 1–2 hours long, allowing enough time to cover new material, practise applying legal principles and review progress. I encourage students to ask questions throughout and provide constructive feedback to help them continuously improve.
I have experience tutoring A-Level Law students, helping students improve by two grades within a few months through personalised lessons, targeted exam practice and consistent support. I have also coached students preparing for the LNAT, focusing on critical thinking, essay technique and admissions preparation. In addition, I have mentored students from underrepresented backgrounds through the competitive university and commercial law application process, including guidance on personal statements, applications and interviews.
I hold an LLB in Law from University College London (UCL) and have secured a training contract one of the UK's leading international law firms. Alongside my academic knowledge, I bring first-hand experience of succeeding in highly competitive applications, enabling me to provide practical advice as well as subject expertise.
My lessons are suitable for A-Level Law students, prospective law applicants preparing for the LNAT or university admissions, undergraduate law students seeking additional support, and aspiring commercial lawyers looking for guidance with vacation scheme and training contract applications.
