About Joe
I am a second-year law undergraduate at UCL. I come from Rochdale, which is a town in the north of Greater Manchester and my hobbies/interests consist of going to the gym, political activism, reading and baking (but I’m not very good at baking). I choose to tutor because of a passion for social mobility. I understand how many brilliant students are held back by their grades in a system that focuses on them way too much. Therefore, I choose to help students surpass this barrier in the hope that they can realise their potential.

My approach would be centred around exam prep - focusing on getting the essay structure correct and building skills before any focus on knowledge. Having said that, I would also provide flashcards for my students to test their knowledge outside of lessons and provide structure to their independent revision. Communication is key and I am therefore willing to be flexible with the students' requests.
