• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I discovered crypto in 2017 and quickly realised the potential of the technology. Together with a few friends, we decided to make raising awareness about the technology our mission and opened an educational website for beginners in the Italian market. Although the project eventually died out, I still have the same passion and mission to make the industry known and understood by as many people as possible so that we can grow together

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  My favourite topic is layer 1 solutions, so blockchains such as Polkadot, Cardano, Ethereum, Algorand and Avalanche to name a few. I am also passionate about DeFi and democratisation of finance more generically, but do not particularly like projects that promise passive income with "no risk", remember if they are too good to be true then there is probably something fishy happening.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  For me it was the strength and passion of the crypto community. The novelty of the technology created large online communities to help each other grow; beside, I had a bunch of friends who were always up to discuss the topic! I recommend everyone should find a chat/blog/fb group to help them answer their questions. Book a lesson with me and I will introduce you to my network!

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  Patient and passion for what you teach are the two pillars of teaching for me. Remember there is not such a thing as a stupid question and if a tutor makes you feel that way, it means that you should probably look for someone else.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  Talking about the power of the community. The mood of the different events I take part in can change pretty quickly depending of the conditions of the market :-D. I remember participating in an event back at the end of last year and the mood was completely through the roof as many momentarily crypto millionaires walked into the room. Differently, the market has not performing as well lately and just last week I met some of the same people at another networking event knowing that their net Worth had been halved. I can guarantee their attitude was much more level-headed. Nevertheless, everyone was still very happy to discuss the latest market updates and offer help! Moral of the story, try to find a crypto event near you and meet some like-minded people, you will fall in love with the space even more.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  Keeping up with all the projects update and progress of the industry is an impossible task. The development of innovation at which blockchain technology and crypto projects are proceeding is crazy. So if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of information you find around, don't worry. We are all on the same boat! That is why it is crucial to know what to prioritise and get passionate and invested in fewer but more promising projects, and I can definitely help with that!

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  This is my passion. It's all about crypto for me these days (even at the expenses of sleep sometimes). I truly believe that the more the public is educated the better the market will perform as we create an informed class of retail investors!
