About Joseph
I am an honors student history major at UCLA, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA in my major. I have tutored informally for years and have usually seen great improvement with anybody that I have helped. My primary specialty is 19/20th-century European history, though I am just as competent in US history. I have also taken courses in ancient and late-classical Near Eastern history, and East Asian.

I attempt to teach history in the historical context, a story that is much is easier to remember, rather than as a bunch of individual boring facts. My lessons do require a lot of engagement from my pupil and an interest in actually learning.
