About Ashlyn
Hello! My name is Ashlyn, and I am currently a junior at UCLA. I am a double major in psychology and sociology and am seeking to pursue a Doctor of Psychology degree in the future! In High School, I was a part of the AP and International Baccalaureate programs, familiarizing me with the advanced placement education system. I am well-versed in many subjects and happy to help where needed!

As a tutor, I like to cater to the needs of each client individually. On a holistic level, I aim to evaluate where each client stands with their knowledge, identifying strengths and weaknesses to move forward with a lesson plan. A typical lesson plan varies based on the subject of interest but involves my analysis of current topics in a given class, followed by an overview of the basic knowledge, explanations, and definitions. From there, I aim to acknowledge any questions that a client may have, work to clarify points, and proceed with practice problems if needed.
I am a very patient and welcoming person, so please feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns! These lessons are intended for Middle to High School students needing help with English and History subjects, as well as High School and AP level Psychology. I can additionally support middle school students in math and high school students up until Algebra 1.
