About Lillian
Hello! I am a Junior literature and psychology student at UMass Amherst minoring in Spanish and Literacy Studies. I have over 7 years of experience tutoring and want to help not only improve your child’s reading and writing abilities, but to cultivate a lifelong love of reading! I currently work as an editor at my school’s literary magazine and am a peer tutor at the writing center. I have experience with children with learning disabilities, including ADHD and autism. I also tutor in general study skills and strategies.

My lessons are primarily student-lead and are customized to the specific needs of the client. I like to strike a balance between helping with specific assignments and classwork and teaching more general lessons to help your child succeed. I think one of the most important aspects of tutoring is building confidence in students and creating a lifelong love of learning.
