About Valeria
Among other things, I am a passionate teacher and learner. I go to USC in LA and live with some roommates. In my academic life, I am a junior studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I participate in projects related to web development, hardware, and embedded systems. In the past I have worked as an ocean lifeguard, software engineer intern and swim coach. I am interested at the intersection of software and hardware, I love the process of automation and I am interested in learning about optics, design verification, and chip design. I was born and raised in Mexico so I am fluent in Spanish and can help with conversation and grammar. I love helping out with writing as well and creating the best suited plan for college applications. I hope I may help you to achieve your main objectives in elementary, middle, or high school.

I like to make concepts relatable, whether it is a basic elementary equation to data structures and algorithms.
I am the curriculum lead for a web development club in my University so I have experience teaching elementary through college.
Ideally, I go into a lesson and the student tells me specifically what they are having trouble understanding. My specialties are algebra, calculus, and data structures and algorithms. I love to mentor students as well for college applications and writing.
