About Kurt
Hey there! My name is Kurt. I'm currently an undergraduate studying computer science full-time, and I’ve been diving into math and computer science for over seven years now. Teaching and exploring different science topics is my passion, and I love making learning fun and relatable for everyone I work with. When I’m not studying, you can find me staying active by playing all sorts of sports. I aim to make learning engaging, relatable, and enjoyable for every student I work with.

My lessons are designed to help students from elementary to grade 12 build confidence and understanding in their subjects. I teach via Zoom, making it easy for students to learn from the comfort of their home. Before each session, I review homework or assignments that students send in advance, so we can go through them step-by-step during class. I explain each question clearly, using real-world examples to make concepts easier to grasp. I also offer optional Khan Academy sessions for extra practice and reinforcement, and will do my best to respond to your questions even when not teaching. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of their progress.

Kurt is one of my friends who I have been with throughout our high-school years, and I feel that he is great at his tutoring skills. We used to do homework together and I always got help whenever I struggled in math. His teaching is to the point, very understandable, and with the way he teaches, math just makes sense!! 10/10 recommend!
