About Ella
In my free time, I listen to a lot of music, make art, and read. I find a lot of value in the arts, as I grew up playing instruments and drawing. Being a journalism major has taught me new ways to research and talk to people, skills that I don’t think I would have had without it. I grew up in the North Shore Chicago suburbs and graduated in 2024. My friends would describe me as creative, kind, understanding, and optimistic.

I used to struggle with writing and reading growing up, I have ADHD and a creative way of thinking. I’ve found a lot methods for writing and reading that help me cope with those things. I empathize with students who struggle with the public school systems way of teaching. With my patience and kind personality, I consider myself to be very understanding. I want to help younger students understand their learning styles, and help them in ways which could have been beneficial for me growing up. I do on virtual meetings through zoom and google meet.
