I learned Spanish in middle school/high school as a non-native speaker. I attended an immersion program with the Monterey Language Institute, and began my work in improving my communication, grammar, pronunciation - as some one who had only taken classes in school.
Language learning is hard - especially if you aren't surrounding by it every day, or if you struggle with pronunciation, grammar or simply finding the "right" word for what you want to say. I get it!
As a violinist from childhood, I found connecting with correct pronunciation through auditory practice was important to build my confidence.
It's difficult, but the more you practice - the better you will be!
