I am passionate about teaching because it is the absolutely most fulfilling experience in the world when a student understands something they didn't before. Every student has their area of comfort and speed at which they learn. I am very patient with my students and employ many methods to help students understand, retain and share knowledge and skills, thus realising their potential. Building rapport with students is vital to assisting students to become comfortable in expressing their misconceptions and learning. I immediately do that with every new class or student that I meet.
