About Daisy
Hello, my name is Daisy. I am in my undergraduate as a Design major. However, I was previously a biology major so I do have experience in multiple fields of STEM classes. In high school, I took all math classes up to statistics, worked in the writing center to grade and revise essays, I was an AP Capstone student under one of the AP College certified teachers, as well as a frequent Chinese Language speaker. I have been tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school - mainly for high schoolers with algebra/geometry in regards to topics in math.

My typical teaching methods as a tutor depend and vary on the student. Many of my past students were very easy-going and only provided questions they had from their classes in school/example problems that they wanted me to work through with them. This is the smallest objective I can teach. Another method is that you come to me and ask me questions of the topic you are "struggling with" and I will come to the session prepped with sample problems, and explanations - lecture style - depending on the student. Most of my lessons were aimed at high school students, but are also open to middle school and future high schoolers. I feel like my methods are different than other tutors because I have my own experience with a handful of tutors and some of their methods not working for me. So I have a good idea of what would compel a student to learn better.

Daisy was recommended to me through a friend - she was helping me with my math classes when i was starting high school. I think her patience in teaching and helping me improve my math was able to help me comprehend my homework and school work better.
Daisy was my tutor during my junior and senior year of highschool - is still my tutor. The way they teach me was very beneficial to me and helped me learn better, very efficient, organized, and communicative. I am an athlete and had to cancel some times and they were very helpful in communicating and refunds.
