Hi! My name is Rowan, and I am a student myself at the University of Washington, studying Chinese and History. I love teaching and meeting new students. I bring a positive attitude and passion to my lessons, and my goal is to foster the same in my students!

I believe in a motivating and positive teaching methodology, with a focus on listening and immersion practice. My lessons typically involve casual conversation, grammar work, and a heavy load of listening and shadow work (repeating after the track). More advanced work involves reading, watching native language shows and movies, and expanding opportunities for real-world practice.
