About Cheyenne
I am currently at university studying Clinical Psychology, however, I have always had a passion for English- I thoroughly enjoyed studying English Literature in my A-Levels as it allowed me to read and analyse some of the most classic texts, such as Bram Stokers' 'Dracula' and Shakespeares' 'Othello'. I also love knowing that I have the potential to pass down some of the techniques and content that I have learnt myself, as this sparks so much happiness and pride within myself; furthermore, I find joy in hoping that students will find my teaching comfortable and accommodating, alongside developing a trustworthy relationship together. With me as your tutor, there is no pressure, no additional stress to perform in a certain way, as the main things that I hope to achieve from these tutor sessions are deeper levels of confidence surrounding your knowledge and the ability to ask for help, alongside small academic steps that both I and my student feel extremely proud about.

Lessons with me will be interactive and will have ample opportunities for questions in order to help you further your understanding and clear up any confusions. Together we will hone in on the areas in English that you struggle the most with, and we will work as a team to help you achieve your goals. I like to listen to the students that I tutor as this helps me mould more efficient lesson plans, which is overall more likely to provide a better tutoring outcome. Lessons with me average between one hour to an hour and a half, depending on the amount that we manage to cover in each session. I have previously been a tutor for individuals sitting their 11+ exams and their GCSE's, but since then I have furthered my education by attending university, where I am still a student. My lessons are for students who are in years 9 to 11, primarily focusing on teaching and re-covering content for years 9&10, and revision help with year 11's.
