About Isabel
I'm currently a Durham undergraduate in Hispanic studies, and half Panamanian myself. I've been living for over a year in Colombia, where I've won awards for my Spanish creative writing. I'm really passionate about literature and language and love to teach both Spanish and English.

I've worked as a tutor since I was 14 years old, and have experience teaching English literature and language, as well as Spanish. I've taught students from SATS to GCSEs (8-16).
Lessons with me are typically an hour long. I like to consult with clients prior to lessons so that I can prepare material which focusses on improving what they perceive to be their weak spots, and so I can learn about their interests and goals.
ie. a Spanish student tells me they often find themselves confused in the 'reading' portion of set texts for us to read and understand together, as well as vocabulary lists that they can practice individually.
or an English student struggles with analysis of unseen texts,I can set a curriculum of different types of unseen texts to work on together.
