About Bella
I’ve always had a genuine passion for history and international relations—it’s a subject that’s fascinated me for as long as I can remember. I’m currently studying International Relations with a minor in Modern History at Macquarie University, where I get to combine my love for exploring the past with understanding how it shapes today’s world. I also have a history of tutoring, mainly working with high school students to build confidence in their writing, research, and exam preparation. My students often tell me that I make history feel less intimidating and far more engaging, because I approach it as a story to be explored rather than just a list of dates and names to memorize. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy attending guest lectures, debating current affairs, and even running informal study groups for friends—anything that lets me share knowledge and exchange ideas. Teaching, for me, isn’t just about academics; it’s about sparking curiosity and helping students see the bigger picture of how history and politics connect to the world they live in today.

My approach to lessons is all about keeping things engaging and accessible. I don’t believe in the traditional, boring history lecture style where you’re just expected to memorize dates and theories. Instead, I work to make each session interactive, tailoring the material to your personal study style so it feels relevant and easy to connect with. Whether you learn best through discussion, visual aids, or practical examples, I’ll adapt to make sure the lessons actually resonate with you. My goal is to create an open, comfortable environment where learning feels less like a chore and more like a conversation that sparks curiosity and confidence.
