About Oscar
I offer hour-long, relaxed lessons with a unique and friendly approach to shy or confident students ranging from Years 7 to 13. Having attained 11 A* GCSEs and 4 A* A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and now studying maths at university, I am very familiar with breaking down concepts into fresh and digestible ideas for students struggling, or excelling, in Maths and the Sciences! While I love Maths and Science, I understand why many students don't or just struggle with it. I have a track record of changing that, or at least making life in school a little easier for you by sharing my passion. While my relaxed, friendly but disciplined teaching style means you will learn lots in a chill environment, tutoring is also beneficial for me; each student always teaches me too!

Whether you need to thoroughly break down more difficult content, cover a wide variety of areas within or across subjects, or need help with exam technique, we can cover it all. Within schools, the same methods, techniques, and logic are taught to understand the same concepts or to pass the exams you are given, but these aren't always the best ways for you personally to learn! Together we'll find out how you can understand and learn in the best way that suits you to help you with your classes, homework, and exams. We will go through past papers, personalised problems, unique real-world examples, and have intuitive discussions to help you in your studies no matter what level in ability or confidence, all in friendly, interesting, and productive lessons!
