About Janez
I am an undergraduate mathematics student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Slovenia). I achieved top 1% results in the national secondary-school final examination, including advanced-level mathematics, and won two consecutive national Slovenian informatics and computational thinking competitions. I've been regularly tutoring and helping my colleagues as well as younger students for the last 4 years. My strengths include finding simple and understandable solutions to seemingly complex problems, understanding different perspectives and finding the path to solution that is the easiest for the students to comprehend.

Due to my current status as an undergraduate mathematics student from Slovenia, I am well equipped to identify the problems students face and to respond accordingly. My teaching methods focus on understanding students’ approaches to problem-solving and guiding them in developing these further. My lessons usually begin with the student explaining their thought process using a practical example, which allows me to identify areas for improvement. I can teach mathematics up to college level.

Super genius for explaining math... If the first explanation doesn't work, come up with another one. Seen many times... :-)
Janez is really helpful math tutor. He showed me how my own way of solving can be improved instead of insisting on using the standard methods. He took time to find the exact point where I made a mistake and helped me correct it step by step.
