About Bhavika
Hello! I’m Bhavika Bowrisetti, a dedicated and passionate individual pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a pre-med pathway at the University of California, Merced. With a solid academic foundation and a diverse range of experiences, I am committed to making a positive impact in the fields of psychology and healthcare.
Professional Background
My journey in the field of genetic sciences began with a virtual internship at Thermo Fisher Scientific Genetic Sciences, where I gained hands-on experience analyzing data from real-time PCR experiments and real-world diagnostic data related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This role honed my practical skills and deepened my understanding of genetic research and its applications in public health.
Additionally, my virtual internship at APM Occupational Services allowed me to balance subjective and objective thinking in conducting workstation assessments and functional capacity evaluations. I developed my clinical reasoning skills through psychological assessments, enriching my knowledge in occupational rehabilitation.
I have also completed the Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research Course with the CITI Program, which emphasized the importance of adhering to regulations and resolving conflicts in research environments. This training equipped me with the skills to manage research projects efficiently and ethically.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Merced, with a GPA of 3.3. My academic journey is complemented by my involvement in various extracurricular activities and a pre-med pathway, which further sharpens my focus on a future in healthcare.

- My primary method is an introduction where we have a consultation session to determine what you need help with and work out a "sample session" (HW questions, textbook, etc.)
- From there, we can conduct a lesson plan in accordance to what the student is learning (depending on the class --> sending the syllabus would be applicable so there is a practical application to my lessons)
