About Gehna
Hi there! I am Gehna Gautam, currently an undergraduate student pursuing Computer Science as her major, a child author of the book “Illuminated Symphonies” but most importantly another student who loves the subject.
I have previously taught, students appearing in the 11 plus and 13 plus examinations as well as given regular classes in English to students wanting to excel in the subject.
I have 3 years experience in camps and ngo’s while also freelancing in the English tutoring domain. I possess a love for the subject and think that no student is deliberately performing poorly in a subject rather, have not received proper guidance in it. I am here to provide a clear-cut method and friendly methodology so there is no gap between the student and teacher, with the subject being the bridge.

English may seem vast to many, however, all it takes is a warm and friend- like guide to help you explore its depth. My lessons are strategic and have a personally-crafted method pertaining to your needs with a clear-cut approach.
Firstly, a warm interaction and friendly discussion helps me understand the student, and being of the same age group, it feels more like learning and discussing with a friend than a boring task.
A lesson would range from minimum 40 minutes to 2 hours and the timing would be pertaining to your needs and how much guidance is necessary. I would be able to teach students from the age range of 8-16 years from year 4 to year 10. I would be able to teach students aspiring for the 11 plus and 13 plus. While also aiding students for regular classes to ameliorate their grades in the subject.
On a personal note, I am an undergraduate student pursuing a major in Computer Science with a passion for writing and poetry and the English Languge. I have a strong hold in the language having lived in the USA and the UK for an extended duration. I am a child author of the poetry book “Illumimated Symphonies” and have won accolades in writing competitions and poetry slams as well.
