About Kiara
My name is Kiara and I am a 20-year-old student studying Criminology! However, I aspire to be a Primary school teacher after completing my PGCE. I want to tutor to build on my experience with children in an academic setting. I am currently a children’s party host at a trampoline park so have ample experience with children.

I offer personalised English tutoring for students from Primary School up to GCSE level, helping them build strong language skills, boost confidence, and achieve their academic goals. My teaching is flexible and student-centred, meaning I tailor each lesson to the individual’s needs and learning style. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and focused on developing key skills in reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension. I use a variety of techniques depending on the student’s age and level, including: Fun, interactive activities for younger learners to build early literacy skills Step-by-step support with writing, comprehension and SPaG Practice with past papers, exam techniques and essay writing for GCSE students Regular feedback and progress tracking to keep students motivated and on track Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to get ahead, or is preparing for SATs or GCSE exams, I create a learning plan that’s right for Most lessons are 60 minutes, which allows us time to introduce new content, practise skills, and review learning. For younger students or those who benefit from shorter sessions, I also offer 30- or 45-minute sessions. I have an A-Level in English and achieved a 7 in GCSE. I’m familiar with the National Curriculum and exam board requirements, including AQA and Edexcel for GCSE English Language and Literature. I work with students aged 5 to 16, from early Primary through to Year 11. Whether your child is just starting out with reading and writing, needs support with SATs, or is preparing for their GCSEs, I provide a calm, encouraging environment where they can grow in confidence and achieve their potential.
