About Vani

Hello everyone! I am Vani Gaur, I'm currently studying at Christ University in Bengaluru. I have always been fascinated by the English language ever since I read my first Geronimo Stilton Book and I haven't looked back since then! I enjoy content writing and reading. I have worked for organizations like the Times Of India and my poetry has been published in several books as well! I love teaching in general and would love to teach you kids as well! My articles have been published on websites as well! Which is why I think I'd be able to teach and guide you all in the same path as well! learning is always a two way street, so let's learn from each other as much as we can!

About the lesson

I will be teaching English, where my primary focus will be to work on the children's writing skills. I will teach them the basics of any writing style such as report writing, article writing, creative writing, poetry writing, and grammar. I will also teach them the structure and body of the same. I will use exciting and fun topics so that the students enjoy writing about those things and will also have space to express their creativity. For the first 30 minutes, I will explain the basic concepts of the topic I will be focusing on that day, and then the next 30 minutes I will give them worksheets or small, simple, and fun tasks so that they are able to get hands-on practice of whatever they learned. The classes are intended for middle school children (essentially for students from grade 5 to grade 10). My unique feature is that since I am a Gen Z myself, I will be able to give them relatable examples and topics that they will both enjoy learning and writing about and will relate to as well. I will focus on keeping the classes as practical and interactive as possible using worksheets, tasks, and small rapid-fire rounds. I do not want the classes to be a one-way session, I want to give them a space where they can speak out their thoughts and ask questions freely.
