About Samantha
My name is Samantha and I am an English Education student graduating with my Bachelor in Arts. I am studying to become an English teacher. My passion is English Literature and inspiring that passion in my future students. I want them to be comfortable with the texts they will be studying. Never be afraid to ask any question! I myself have had struggles in the past and asked thousands of questions. I have no issue going over the text multiple times to make sure a student becomes comfortable with it. This is my passion and I want to inspire.

My approach is taking each piece section by section and aiding in analysis. This is how I was taught and I find it to be one of the easiest ways to understand classic works. For example: If I were tutoring a student in Frankenstein, we would begin with each chapter reading aloud and then go back to that if a student is ever confused about anything. Write down any vocabulary questions, any analysis questions, and any overall questions the student may have about the characters, work, and theme. I am a patient tutor who loves the subject I am studying. My typical student range is 8th-12th grade students in English/English Literature. My range of literature is Medieval to Victorian with some emphasis in modern literature.
