About Vivian

My name is Vivian. I completed my HSC in 2022 and am now an undergraduate student studying Medical Science at WSU. I'm a very down-to-earth person and have lots of patience (probably because I had 3 younger brothers). I am happy to go at a slow pace or fast pace, whichever suits you best.

About the lesson

In the first lesson (which is free), I talk to the student to get to know them so they can become more comfortable with me. I've noticed those who aren't comfortable with their teachers tend to ask less questions because they do not want to seem 'dumb'. I want to erase that mindset so the student can get the most out of their lessons. After that introduction, I ask the student to do a test (~ 30mins) based on their curriculum which will be graded on the spot so I can get a feel of what the student can and cannot do. I am happy to go through any questions the student may have.

After the first lesson, I will have activities prepared for the student to complete as well as homework (not compulsory but highly recommended). If they have completed their homework, I will mark it when I see them next and go through any questions they may have.

Lesson length can be 1-3 hours, that is up to you.

Students are welcome to bring any questions they have from school and parents/carers can also request if they would like more time spent on a specific topic. On top of all this, if the student has any questions, they can text me and I am more than happy to answer them at no additional costs.
