About Jacob
My Italian journey began four years ago when I took up the language over the summer as a hobby. I quickly realized my love of the language, and I signed up for university courses in the language.
I enjoy teaching people new things and helping individuals improve their skillsets. I'm a patient tutor who listens to student's needs in lesson-planning. I have experience in tutoring Italian; as I've volunteered to moderate Italian lectures as well as help students with one-on-one practise.

Italian
Lessons are hour-long and consist of a discussion about a casual topic, (e.g., hobbies, talents, news); involving the teaching of phrases, grammar, and vocabulary.
Lessons are conducted in Italian with English explanations when needed to familiarize the student with the sound and structure of the language.
A typical lesson consists of: introduction, small-talk, introduction of topic, introduction of teaching-point, practising teaching-point, conclusion, and goodbye.
I teach conversational Italian to beginners, but will also act as a tutor for those taking Italian lessons through an educational facility.
