About Samuel
Hi, I'm Samuel, an international student from Singapore and a current scholarship holder studying at the London School of Economics (LSE). I have always valued learning that is meaningful and engaging, and I enjoy helping students to discover that themselves. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I try to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. My aim is to support students in reaching their goals while also fostering curiosity and enjoyment in the subjects they study.

I believe in student-centred learning, where every lesson is tailored to each learner’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching method to match their individual style, whether through discussion, visual explanation, or guided practice. My priority is to help students reach their personal goals, whether that means achieving top grades, building academic confidence, or gaining admission to an elite university. Qualifications: Currently studying at the London School of Economics (LSE) with a strong academic background in Geography. Achieved top scores in the International Baccalaureate (43 points), including 7s in Higher Level Geography, Biology, and Chemistry. Experience tutoring high school students, middle school and primary students in Sciences, English and essay-based subjects, focusing on conceptual understanding and exam technique. Who my lessons are for: My lessons are suitable for students aged 11 to 19 and above, covering a range of levels including Key Stage 3, GCSE, IB, and university preparation. I’m happy to work with learners of all abilities.
