About Aaishah
Hi! My name is Aaishah and I am an undergraduate studying History at the University of Leeds. I have always had a passion for English, History, Economics and Maths and love sharing this enthusiasm with others. I have had a lot of previous experience working with primary and secondary schools, therefore I have a good understanding of what is needed in order to achieve the top grades. My previous experience has also enabled me to understand the curriculum thoroughly from KS1 to GCSE and A-Level.

My sessions are structured to tailor the students ability, learning style and needs. I acknowledge that each student is different and has there own learning pace; therefore each lesson will be different for each student. In each lesson we will set an objective and goal and work towards achieving this goal. This ensures that progress is made and that the student is confident with the topic.
I am dedicated and always go above and beyond in aiding the student in order to reach their academic goals. I incorporate a range of different activities, which includes quizzes to test one's knowledge, mind-maps, contextual work as well as exam technique and practice. I also use active encouragement to help boost confidence and motivate students to help them think independently as well. I will ensure that the student is comfortable with the content we have learnt before moving on to a different topic.
