Hi, I am an Undergraduate studying Law at Bournemouth University. I am offering my services to teach English and assist students' needs specifically.

About Paige
I am a female who aspires to be a corporate solicitor one day. I believe I will become a successful tutor because english is used to a high level with my degree and I must keep on top of it therefore, teaching the subject English will assist me more. I also understand how many student struggle with school and the systems it is ran by and I would like to show my students the easy hacks I found to understanding and doing well at the subject.
I will ensure my students feel confident within their answers and I will remain professional with my work in ensuring they reach their school targets. Reading really helps learn new words and understand texts better and I love doing this in my spare time when I am not on campus for lectures or seminars.

My approach to a successful tutor is to focus on what the student needs and their weaknesses to what they struggle with most. Techniques I use is repetition, tests to see what they know e.g., small essays, mini tests at the start . I also like to work up through the levels of difficulty as this helps me also understand where they struggle. I provide feedback on every bit of work they do in detail and I find an easy way that they could possibly improve gradually.I like my lessons to be between 30 minutes to an hour dependent on students preference and I find the information can be taken in better rather than it all being at once.
I have no experience being a tutor however, I have assisted friends, siblings with their work and I am keen to become a successful tutor.
I am open to school years 5 +.
