About Rubina

Hi! My name is Rubina, and I’m currently studying TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I’m passionate about English and communication, and I truly enjoy helping others improve their language skills. I understand that learning English can sometimes feel scary or difficult, especially when it comes to speaking, but I want you to know that my class is a safe and supportive space where you can learn comfortably.

I want to teach because I love seeing students grow more confident step by step. Being able to speak and write in English can open many opportunities, whether for school, work, or daily life. I believe everyone deserves patient guidance and encouragement while learning. My goal is not only to teach you English, but also to help you feel confident using it in real situations. We will learn together in a simple, relaxed, and enjoyable way.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I create a relaxed environment where they are not afraid to make mistakes. Since I focus on basic English fluency, especially speaking and writing, I teach step by step and make sure students clearly understand before moving to the next level.

In my lessons, I use simple and practical techniques. For speaking, I include daily conversation practice, role-plays, picture descriptions, and question-and-answer sessions to help students build confidence. I also correct pronunciation gently and teach useful everyday phrases. For writing, I start with basic sentence structures and slowly guide students to write short paragraphs. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, and organizing ideas clearly. I give short writing exercises and provide feedback with explanations so students can improve continuously. I also like to use interactive activities, simple games, and real-life topics to make learning more interesting.

A typical lesson is around one hour. Usually, I spend some time on speaking practice, followed by writing and grammar exercises, and end with revision and feedback. However, I can adjust the lesson length and content depending on the student’s needs and level. I am currently studying TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), which helps me understand effective teaching methods and how students acquire a second language. My lessons are mainly for beginners and lower-intermediate students, including children, teenagers, and adults who want to improve their basic English communication and writing skills for daily use or school purposes.
