About Ronita
Hi! I’m Ronita, an English Language and Linguistics undergrad at the University of Edinburgh. My successful results following A-levels did not come without a lot of determination in revision, as I worked to develop techniques that would secure top marks. These tailored approaches are guaranteed to obtain similar results in the students I tutor which I have developed throughout secondary school as a maths mentor. I make sure to adapt my teaching to suit my student’s needs to ensure they go from uncertainty and confusion in questions to a sense of security and assured knowledge by the time exams come around!

My very recent hands-on experience with formal examinations means that I know exactly what examiners look for in Mathematics and English Language exams, and I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-level students. My tailored approaches gain top results, including 3 A*s in Maths, English Language and Psychology as well as 8s and 9s in my GCSEs. Typical lessons are an hour but depending on the student's needs, can be extended or shortened, and my teaching methodology includes working through examples of questions or essays together to gain the basic understanding and to go through any questions, before being set any independent work where I will be more than happy to answer any further questions.
