About Hemankit
Hello student! I am actually not your tutor. I am a dear friend who just happens to be able to teach. I truly believe that teaching will be most effective when the teacher makes an effort to foster a good relationship with the student and willingness to share. I cannot tell you how many times in high school and college that difficult subjects became so much more interesting and enjoyable when there was a solid relationship between me and my professor or teacher. So I will make it part of my mission to share my experiences and be as open as possible and willing to connect with you as part of my teaching. I ask only one thing rather than you trying your hardest to learn a topic let that be my headache and all I want you to do is be free, open up, and try and connect with me. The other part of my mission is how to make AI tools (namely chatGPT) a learning tool rather than a cheating tool. As a data science major chatGPT is absolutely crucial. But I never copy and paste it without verifying and understanding. Trust me It actually makes your life easier when you are using it for learning rather than cheating. So I say use chatGPT to your heart's content. However, don't expect to be let off the hook that easy with just copying and pasting the answers. If you answer a question in an unreasonable amount of time I will ask you to explain and if you are not able to then I will go through the response step by step with you. I ask you during the lesson to share your screen and be truthful and honest but no questioning or judgment. For test and quiz prep I will ask you to explain your approach and then formulate into step by step solution. I will put some pressure of time on you to simulate tests and quiz environment but am flexible if you don't want test or quiz pressure. I hope to meet you soon and hope you enjoy learning with me:)

One thing about me is that I love to connect my experiences with my students while I was in their shoes. I love to share my hardships and successes when it comes to learning the topics I teach. I did this a lot as a physics teaching assistant in college and received positive feedback so I will no doubt do it here. I will integrate this into my lesson plan where I will first provide a stress-free, relaxed environment to get the student to feel comfortable and ready to learn. Then comes the teaching part where I let the student guide me and let me know how he/she feels about a topic on a scale from 1 to 5 and based on that I will spend more time on those topics. However, I generally won't let just the scale guide me. I will ask the student to explain in his/her own words to explain the topic and based on how well they explain I will ask the student if they would like to revise a concept they claimed they felt comfortable with. I do give the option to the student because I aim to respect their time. For example, if the student said they can review a certain topic on their own I will let them and am willing to answer emails or messages if they wanted to check in about it that way we utilize class time purely for the most difficult concepts for the student. Then comes the practice phase where we would walk through the assignments like homework assignments or worksheets anything that would be useful to try out problem-solving strategies which is where I will for the most part connect it with my personal experiences that I think will allow the student to solve problems efficiently and quickly. Finally, I like to do a revision of the concepts and a final reflection where the student explains what he found most useful in my teaching and how it compares with the teacher that way I can improve and understand what methods work best for a particular student. For test or quiz preparation I will ask the student one day in advance to provide all class materials that can be used to study and proceed from there and provide encouragement to do well which might be small but can be powerful in boosting confidence and helping the student excel. I think these lessons will be most helpful for middle and high school students who I think I would be most comfortable teaching.

I highly recommend Hemankit as a tutor on Superprof. He helped me a lot with physics, especially with topics like Energy, Newton’s Laws, and Momentum. His way of teaching made tough concepts much easier to understand.
What I liked most is that he never just gave me the answers. Instead, he guided me to think for myself, ask the right questions, and work through problems step by step. This not only helped me learn the material but also made me more confident in handling difficult problems on my own.
Hemankit is patient, clear, and truly cares about his students’ progress. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a tutor.Hemankit is a great tutor who guides you through each problem thoughtfully rather than going through answers. He asks smart questions that help you truly understand the concepts instead of just memorizing them. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about your learning and makes sure you are understanding everything.

I am flexible and can change my rate if my lesson is not worth $18 but I ask the student to be honest and tell exactly what I can do better to make it worth $18. I know this rate seems to be a bit high but I am a college student and I need to start saving money for student loans, however I don't like taking extra money when I don't deserve it:) Thank you for understanding!
