About Kelechi
Hi, I'm Kelechi! I am a current undergraduate student at UCLA, where I am majoring in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Global Health. I'm an aspiring physician-scientist with a passion for public health, global medicine, and education.
Beyond the lab and classroom, I am deeply passionate about education and mentorship. My professional experience as a Behavior Interventionist and tutor taught me how to read individual learning styles, adapt to different needs on the fly, and build a highly supportive environment. I know firsthand that challenging STEM courses can feel overwhelming, so my goal as a tutor is to help you break down those barriers, build strong study habits, and gain the confidence you need to truly thrive in your academic journey. Personally, I love to sing, dance, and solve jigsaw puzzles in my spare time!

My Teaching Method & Techniques

A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (10 mins): Quick review of past material using spaced repetition to ensure long-term retention.
Core Concepts (20 mins): Visual breakdown of new, complex topics using screen sharing and virtual whiteboards.
Guided Practice (20 mins): Collaborative problem-solving. I ask the student to teach the concept back to me to verify true comprehension.
Wrap-Up (10 mins): Summarizing key takeaways and setting clear, manageable goals for independent study.
