About Esme
I received excellent GCSEs and Level 3 qualifications as well as completing the Foundation in Arts and Social Sciences at Bristol University (I was awarded with the Peter Falconer prize for the highest overal grade in my year). I understand that learning isn't linear, I was homeschooled myself from the age of fourteen, and having recently been diagnosed with ADHD, I understand the complexity of having learning requirements that our educational institutions can fail to meet.

I am warm, friendly, and believe in making mistakes! I hope to offer a space where we can break tasks down and emerge from them as triumphant problem solvers.
Being a student myself, I understand the pressure of external expectations that can make learning feel overwhelming and impenetrable. I am interested in creating individual learning plans that mould themselves to unique ways of learning, optimising the student's time and elevating their results.
I have experience working with primary aged children, helping with homework in nannying roles as well as offering one-to-one classroom support in my role of teaching assistant. It is to this age group that I am offering tutoring sessions.
