About Mia
I am a Chemistry tutor with more than 7 years of experience and a degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry. I work with university students to help them understand physical chemistry in a clear and engaging way. My main teaching areas include thermodynamics, kinetics, and quantum chemistry. I explain concepts using detailed derivations so students can see how each idea is built. This gives them a deeper understanding of the subject. I also teach structured methods for approaching complex problems. Over the years, I’ve supported many chemistry majors and chemical engineering students. I understand their course requirements and the depth they need to succeed. My lessons focus on clarity, confidence, and strong conceptual understanding. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning. I’m a warm and interactive Chemistry tutor who focuses on helping students develop strong conceptual understanding and equation-solving skills. My lessons use visual aids, demonstrations, and everyday chemical examples to keep learning engaging. Students quickly see how chemistry appears in food, cleaning, weather, and materials around them. Environmental chemistry is another area I emphasise to show the subject’s global importance. I include lab safety, major historical discoveries, and foundational experiments to enrich lessons. My approach is highly problem-solving oriented. I guide students through structured reasoning so they can build strong analytical skills. Science Communicator and Neuroscience Buff personas enjoy the way I connect chemistry to brain processes and scientific storytelling. I promote curiosity and active participation in every session.
