About Nathan
I'm a Bachelor of Biomedicine Honours student at the University of Melbourne and have just finished a major in Human Structure and Function. I find all things science to be really fascinating and am always looking to learn something new. I completed VCE in 2020 with an ATAR of 97.00 and afterwards worked as a tutor at my high school for a year in 2021, specializing in the unit 3/4 subjects I studied over year 11 and 12. I did Maths Methods a year early and took 5 subjects in 2020: Specialist Maths, Psychology, Chinese SL, English and Chemistry. I'm super passionate about helping other people understand difficult concepts and get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing my students improve. I also love to have a bit of fun and am always down to nerd out about pretty much any topic

I want to help my students understand the material they learn on a deeper level. I feel that this approach leads to the best results and builds greater confidence in answering even the most challenging questions. Let me know before your first lesson what you're looking to get out of tutoring and I can prepare tailored material to suit you best. Success doesn't come overnight, so putting the work in outside of classes or tutoring is really important. I can help you set SMART goals and create study schedules to help improve your studying efficiency. If you're still in high school, I will coordinate closely with you and a parent/guardian to make sure that I'm able to cater to your personal learning preferences and to make sure that you're continually improving. Bring me your homework and specific questions you might have and we can work through them together. If you don't think that you need a weekly session, that's no problem at all! I'll work with you to achieve your goals with more casual tutoring if that works better for you.

The best tutor I have genuinely had. Was able to explain things to great depth and my grades increase from a D to a B in a little over a month (I put this all down to Nathan) Also really flexible time wise and super easy to work with highly recommend giving him a go if in need of a tutor
