I am a Durham University graduate and employee with a passion for learning and teaching. I possess experience in university application coaching, proofreading and editing, and teaching English as a foreign language.
I have worked with people aged 12 to 50, both online and in person.

I'm a university admissions administrator at one of UK's top universities, with experience in Oxbridge personal statement and interview consulting, as well as several years of online and in-person tutoring.
I can help you (or your little one) produce a strong personal statement that will highlight your achievements in a way that is sure to catch the attention of the admissions committee, whether you need some help polishing the details, or to build it from scratch together.
I have helped applicants to UK and European universities write statements for courses ranging from Chinese Studies and Finance to Interior Design. I am open to all subjects, but I specialise in:
- Modern Languages and Cultures
- Anthropology
- Art History and Museum Studies
We will start with an introductory session, during which you will tell me about your experience and plans. If you haven't started writing your statement yet, we will brainstorm ideas. If you already have a draft, we can discuss what can be improved during this session.
This will be followed by more sessions, depending on your needs and the length of the statement. I will produce a tailored plan for you, and we will stay in communication over Whatsapp / email outside of the paid hours.
The sessions are 60 minutes each.
As a bonus, I can answer some queries you might have about the UK admissions system.
